A new double-reversing stand has been constructed in North Rhine-Westphalia. This project drew on the expertise of our Bähr team. Bähr Anlagenbau carried out the electrical installation of the plant. The project began in July 2022. Over a period of 18 months, the project is designed to deliver state-of-the-art installation and technical services to support the production of high-quality, non-grain-oriented electrical steel, which has been specially developed for use in electric drives. The project involves the supply and installation of comprehensive cable management systems, cables and wiring, equipotential bonding, as well as transformer and control cabinet installations. With 25 Bähr specialists on site, our scope of supply and services includes laying 80 kilometres of cable, connecting 5,600 cable joints and installing 195 control cabinets. Added to this is the installation of 2,100 metres of cable support systems and 450 kilograms of substructure. This work requires not only technical expertise but also continuous coordination between the various trades to master the complex and demanding technical challenges.
