A combined cycle gas turbine power plant (CCGT) was constructed in North Rhine-Westphalia as a combined heat and power plant in accordance with the German Combined Heat and Power Act (KWKG). The team from Bähr Anlagenbau carried out the electrical and instrumentation and control (I&C) installation, as well as the installation of the cable trays. In addition, our services included the installation and supply of lighting cabinets to customer specifications, as well as the medium-voltage connections to the transformers and the precise instrumentation, including welded impulse piping. Particular attention was paid to the installation of permanent lighting adjacent to the main plant, which enabled significant savings on the costs of temporary lighting. A key milestone was the successful commissioning of the low-voltage system via a temporary medium-voltage feed-in on 1 July 2023, demonstrating our efficiency and reliability in managing complex installation projects.
